CES Press Room Goes Green

Two years ago all these specially designed cubbies for product literature would have been full to overflowing on press day. But this year they were as empty as the ashtrays in the no-smoking sections of the Casinos.


According to the fellow in charge of checking in and setting up promo lit “It’s all going Green.” Instead of generating boxes of printed matter manufacturers are directing journalists to their websites for the latest news. Like most of the folks in the press room the master of the promo lit room was forced to occupy his time by surfing the net.
