On July 1st following the retirement of owner and founder, Nick Green, Chris Lindsay and Robbie Trim have become UKD's new owners.
UKD was founded in 1993 and is the UK's only distributor dealing with leading Italian manufacturers such as Pathos, Diapason, new to the market, Rosso Fiorentino and Swiss made Thorens turntables.
"Although my background has been in IT sales for the last 20 years, it was time for a new challenge and taking over a company with such solid foundations and experience within the audio industry, yet with huge potential, will certainly be that. Although I have a lot to learn, I am confident that my experience in business and marketing will enable an already successful company move forward into the next 30 years," said Chris Lindsay.
Robbie Trim has worked in all aspects of the audio industry for the last 35 years, settling for the last 7 in retail with Audio Oasis which is based in Hampshire.
"With Chris' expertise and my industry knowledge, we hope to increase the success of UKD and in turn support all our dealers throughout the UK to build on their own success," said Robbie.
Following a re-branding process, both Chris and Robbie are very keen to increase UKD's product portfolio by introducing new and exciting products, build strong relationships with their client base by supporting them with marketing activities and strengthen UKD's great reputation for quality and service.
