We have teamed up with Auckland-based Mad Scientist Audio to give away three sets of the company’s excellent BlackPod Ceramic Footers and three sets of Ceramic BlackPod with TC Ball, designed to sit under any audio electronics. Mad Scientist’s BlackPod Ceramic Footers were reviewed in issue 124 of HiFi+ by Nicholas Ripley, who described them as “…a solid Oreo with a filling of Black Discus, with one face of the Oreo sandwich containing a ball made of one of three materials: Alumina ceramic, Zirconia ceramic, or Tungsten Carbide cermetal.” Ripley concluded the review by strongly recommending the Mad Scientist Audio products, and six lucky readers will discover just why he liked them so much when they receive a set for free!
