Based in London, Vertere is impressing a lot of people. Even before the excellent range of turntables and tonearms, Vertere’s remarkable cables were winning people over with their extraordinary clarity and musical integrity. Everything from the entry-level d-Fi range to the cost-no-object handbuilt cables have an ability to spark enthusiasm in listeners worldwide, and you could be the lucky winner of a set of Pulse R interconnects, worth over £2,000.
Using the innovative construction techniques found in the handbuilt range of cables, the next in line Pulse-R line-level, was conceived with the constant line-level signal in mind and is designed to conduct complex, alternating, wideband, and dynamic audio signals with absolute integrity. It provides unrestricted signal dynamics while preserving the intricate low level detail. The constant, source-related noise floor of line-level signal is thus kept at bay, which results in an unequivocal musical experience.
Vertere is unique in that it makes its source-to-amplifier and pre-to-power cables materially different, in terms of configuration of internal conductors, in order to work effortlessly with and cater for the altering preamplifier output signal. This is because preamp output is volume controlled, where the signal level is amplified or attenuated as desired, which in turn causes the noise floor to change with it.
The lucky winner of our Vertere competition will win a 1m pair of Pulse-R cable, configured in either balanced or single-ended form, set either as line-level, or pre-to-power configuration, depending on their requirements. Just don’t be surprised if this sets your Pulse racing!
