Chord Company C-jack

Chord Company C-jack

Wiltshire, England: Chord Company has launched C-jack, a high-quality lifetime-warranty mini jack (3.5 mm) audio cable, designed to bring the famous Chord Company quality to any device with a 3.5 mm line output. C-jack connects everyday devices including phones, tablets, laptops, DAPs and more, to home audio systems with all the usual Chord Company refinements.

C-jack distils 35 years of British A/V cable manufacturing expertise into an affordable music cable that’s not just for audiophiles. High performance and highly accessible (just £40 for 0.75 m) c-jack takes the guesswork out of finding a quality cable for household gadgets.

Despite its low price, c-jack uses many Chord Company proprietary technologies, including the coveted ARAY conductor tech, first developed for the company’s flagship Sarum T interconnect (from £2,100). C-jack’s high-specification cable is also shielded to reduce high-frequency noise pick-up from today’s wi-fi-congested homes and spaces.

Further features include high-quality over-moulded gold-plated plugs, a narrow-profile mini jack design (for difficult-to-access 3.5 mm sockets) and a choice of three standard lengths: 0.75 m, 1 m and 3 m.

C-jack expands Chord Company’s popular entry level C-series range, which offers both analogue and digital interconnects, including cost-effective USB, HDMI and streaming products, plus speaker and subwoofer cables.

Price and availability

C-jack is available now in 3.5 mm-3.5 mm and 3.5mm-twin RCA configurations: 0.75 m (£40); 1 m (£50) and 3 m (£70).
