We have teamed up with our friends from AudioQuest to bring you an excitingcompetition and a chance to win one of three DragonFly Cobalts worth £269.
Alan Sircom reviewed this in Hi-Fi+ issue #175 (pages 116-117) where he wrote, “The Cobalt is the third and latest generation of DragonFly from AudioQuest since the original DragonFly DAC first hit the streets back in 2012. That lone model eventually morphed into two models in 2016 – the entry-level DragonFly Black and the more up-scale DragonFly Red.
He went on to say, “The sound of the Cobalt is light, tight, lean and fun. It is exceptionally clean and detailed sounding, building heavily on the already clean and detailed red. If the black opened the window, and the Red cleaned the window, then the Cobalt builds a bigger window and brings industrial window-cleaning products to the party”.
He concluded the review by saying, “In truth, I’m loving the AudioQuest DragonFly Cobalt and the way it revolutionises my travel plans. Armed with a Cobalt, a tablet and a pair of noisecancelling headphones, I can destroy the environment from 32,000ft for hours on end, or I can be eco-chummy and take the train for a week or two. Either way I get to listen to my music and watch Netflix with effortless, unfatiguing sound.”
